Its so hard picking music for your studio presentations. I love Roy Ashen from Triplescoop. He’s been hugely supportive of all cL workshops giving away so many prizes. If you need music for your videos and slideshows Roy has made us a Glamour collection check it out. The best part is Roy is actually a musician so he can pick great beats.
and . . . . on “28 Days With Sue Bryce” this Friday on creativeLIVE you can win a copy of this music collection. You’ll also hear Triple Scoop Music artist Mindy Gledhill performing LIVE on the broadcast!
You know the amazing Chick that plays the songs on my videos
In preparing for 28 days I have been going through the complete foundations of building my business. From posing to marketing and sales etc and training my very first employed photographers. Yesterday I got to spend time with those two girls from New Zealand. I am so proud to see that they have built their own businesses and how they have grown as business owners and Photographers. I get to share they’re stories with you when I am in Vegas. As I prepared the Seattle studio to shoot these video’s I purchased this beautiful backdrop. As you know I always shoot on V flats or painted Poly boards and I don’t really have any traditional backdrops in my studio. But I could NOT resist buying this one. This backdrop is handpainted from Oliphant Studios in New York.
I have been shooting on this all week and I am loving the return to the traditional looking portraiture that it brings. I am so excited for this next educational sharing and look forward to you building up your portrait business your confidence and your joy for shooting.
I say it over and over. The joy I get from photographing this demographic 45 plus. As I prepare for 28days with me on creativeLIVE I focus on this gorgeous demographic, how to shoot them market them and make timeless beautiful portraits. So lovely to meet you Robin.
Such a great video too. Thanks to Susan Roderick & Shaun Levra (She is standing on a box btw in the video I explain why)
“I, with a deeper instinct, choose a man who compels my strength, who makes enormous demands on me, who does not doubt my courage or my toughness, who does not believe me naïve or innocent, who has the courage to treat me like a woman.”
― Anaïs Nin
“I watch Women when I photograph them. I see their energy shift. A little sass – a little confidence. They start to feel beautiful and let go. I watch them reign it back in too, sensibility conditioning I suppose. I don’t need approval to feel beautiful within myself. The older I get the more I embrace it. This is not a gift society gives you. It’s part of who you are, you are a WOMAN.” ~Sue Bryce
Do you want to instruct or teach a workshop on creativeLIVE? Would you audition live for this? Do you have what it takes to put yourself in the hot seat!
If you do, watch this video and come to Las vegas. We will put you in front of a Panel and an audience oh and LIVE of course. I truly hope you find the self belief and confidence to do this. It significantly changed my life.
Hailey and I were just talking over lunch. So many people email us both and comment on how our obvious passion for what we both do respectively is contagious and they want to feel that way. We were just discussing that feeling of loving something so much you just can’t stop doing it. For Hailey it’s filming anything. For me it’s Glamour. Your challenge today is to write down that thing you love, and start moving towards it every day. No excuses no limits or fears. Just excitement and practise a little every single day. Let your excitement permeate through you and what you are doing and then you will discover your highest value. Then work through that highest value. That is ZEN, that is self power. You don’t need to LOOK for it, it is right in front of you. That thing you do when time stops, you forget to eat and all your important chores go out the window. When you practise this regularly it cannot help but to become part of your income.
http://www.patriciarobison.com/ you are amazing. Patty you are a master thank you so much for making me such a beautiful piece I will treasure it. This is what I’m shooting tomorrow. Well as a little girl who played with dolls this is my dream. If I am only ever ‘known’ as the girl that shoots these frilly frocks then It will not be a wasted life. For here I dwell in my happiness. I wish the same for you.
