“most of our business problems are our personal problems.” Michael Port
I found this on facebook today and I smiled. You see there are days when I too am filled with inertia, but sometimes just one clear positive thought can bring so much presence and then you are not worried about bills and limitations you are simply enthusiastic. Enthusiasm is inner confidence and it’s radiant and attractive on all levels. Don’t be afraid to connect: KNOW you are worth it. There is opportunity all around you.

Tonight I arrived home from my day (insurance) job and there was no electricity in my neighborhood – meaning I can not edit my photos, create PDFs work on marketing for my REAL (aka Photography) job. I packed up my laptop and went to my local Mexican restaurant and found a seat at the bar behind my laptop and a margarita. I chatted here and there with the bartender and of course mentioned that I am a photographer. He mentioned that his wife had done a boudoir shoot years ago and he cherished the photos and also did a shoot for her some years later. I discussed how photoshoots progress in my studio with the stylist, MUA and HS and then on to the photography, etc…. When paying my check I stuck a business card in the folder with a note stating “Let me know if you have any future photography needs.” Much to my surprise he grabbed me before leaving and asked to purchase a gift certificate for his wife (to the tune of $425 which he gave me cash!!!) he never once saw a photo (even though I had my laptop) he didn’t ask to see my website; nothing. Just as @Sue Bryce tells us, when you believe in your work, others do to.” Jennifer Walsh
