I’m in New Zealand. My homeland.

Second day of Judging for the New Zealand Nationals and we are in Rotorua.  Orange County Photog Jen Conover and I did the GIRLS ROAD TRIP YEHAH down the central north island to Rotorua.  More commonly known to the locals as ROTO-VEGAS.  I judged all day and had my folio judged.  I am the proud recipient of 4 GOLDS and one of them was a distinction.  I am extremely proud of this folio and I won’t lie.  I gave everything I had to create this folio.  I took 2 weeks off my business, story boarded and created every image and then illustrated each image culminating in over 80 hours of work.

In Australia I won 3 Golds and 1 silver distinction and I knew one of my images was not up to the standard of the other 3 so I changed it before I re entered the folio in NZ.  SO I thought I would share it with you.  AND the other images you have already seen in earlier posts.  This is ‘FAIRYTALE’ by me.  Its represents a duality (growing up a gemini) my fascination with twins and the wonderful make believe world I created growing up.  The twins (2 of the most beautiful girls you’ve ever seen) in this image are darling friends of mine whom I simply adore who loved doing the whole shoot, getting hair and makeup and playing dress up.  What fun we had.  Many thanks to the twins and Legend Simona Janek & Leda for Hair and Makeup.

This image scored 93 GOLD today.
